Problem
1 - low visibility in search engine like google
Having a strong online presence is important for attracting more customers to the web store. However, our current website design isn't helping us get noticed by people searching online. We need to improve the design, focusing on user experience and interface, so that more people can find and use our website easily
2 - Unclear hierarchy and messaging
The lack of clarity regarding the website's purpose can confuse users and make it difficult for them to understand the products/services offered. Clarifying the hierarchy and refining the messaging will help ensure that visitors quickly grasp the website's purpose and engage more effectively with its content
Goal
To create a website solution for a local shop owner to boost online presence, engage customers, and eventually leads to more sales.
Outcome
High Fidelity Prototype with user testing

Style Tile
With the information gathered from interviewing the shop owner, we started off creating a moodboard to produce a feeling and look of design direction of the website.
Style tiles helped us establish the core style representing the shop.
Result and Retro
The project produced an e-commerce platform for EntenundKatzen, a local bio goods and café shop in Berlin. The revamped website features a curated product selection, detailed information, opening hours, and daily lunch menus with recipes, reflecting the shop’s values. Despite limited client involvement during redesign, thorough testing is essential to ensure functionality and alignment with the client’s vision upon launch.
The development emphasized collaboration and user-centric design despite minimal client interaction. Drawing from the initial briefing, we tailored the website to meet requirements and user needs, resulting in a visually appealing site reflective of the shop’s identity. Looking ahead, comprehensive testing is crucial to ensure the website meets both client expectations and user satisfaction.
Despite minimal client input, we’ve strived for a seamless experience. Your feedback is vital for refining it. Share your thoughts to capture EntenundKatzen’s warmth. Your input ensures our online journey is as delightful as strolling Berlin’s streets.
